If you live outside London, you may apply for a passport through one of our Honorary Consuls instead of applying in person at the Italian Consulate General in London.<\/p>\n
To access the service you must telephone the Honorary Consul or the Consular Agent directly<\/strong>\u00a0to book an appointment:<\/p>\n What services can our Honorary Consuls offer?<\/strong><\/p>\n Aiming at providing our citizens with more efficient and fast services, the Consulate General of Italy in London is strengthening the network of Honorary offices around the Country. Some of them are equipped with a kit for capture of finger prints and therefore can receive passport applications. All Italian nationals living outside London are strongly encouraged to apply there.<\/p>\n Our Honorary Consuls have only been equipped with software to collect biometric data (fingerprints). They are not able to issue a passport. Processing times are approximately 5 weeks from the date your application is received by the Consulate<\/strong>.
