Those who intend to return to Italy, and whose children have completed one or more years in a school which follows the British system (wherever in the world it is situated),without having attained school leaving certificates (for example GCSEs, A or AS Levels etc.) can request a consular certificate called \u201cattestazione consolare\u201d which is issued by the Qualifications Office.<\/p>\n

To this end please submit the following documentation:<\/p>\n

    \n
  1. this form<\/a> duly completed and signed by the parent or by the student (if he\/she is at least 15 years of age and has a valid ID card or passport);<\/li>\n
  2. original letter (on headed paper) issued by the British school written along the lines of this “Guidelines…” file<\/a>. Please note that the letter must be requested only at the end of the school year and not before;<\/li>\n
  3. translation into Italian of the letter (for an example of translation please see page 2 of the “Guidelines…” file);<\/li>\n
  4. photocopy of the ID card or passport of the child and\/or of the parent requesting the “attestazione”, if applicable;<\/li>\n
  5. an SAE for the return of the \u201cattestazione\u201d.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
