The person who writes and signs it assumes personal responsibility for what is declared.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT CAN BE SELF-CERTIFIED: <\/strong>a <strong>status<\/strong> (e.g.: being the owner of a property; being the heir of a certain person;\u2026), <strong>personal qualities<\/strong> (being the owner of a business; been exempted from income tax;\u2026) or <strong>facts <\/strong>(having been damaged by a natural disaster; \u2026) certifiable by a public administration, except those that must be the object of <a href=\"https:\/\/conslondra.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino\/autocertificazioni-dichiarazioni-sostitutive-e-atti-notori\/atto-notorio\/\">sworn declarations<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>WHOM IT CAN BE USED WITH: <\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>public administration <\/strong>(Municipalities, Consulates,\u2026);<\/li>\n<li><strong>Public service providers <\/strong>(ENEL, ACI, Telecom,\u2026);<\/li>\n<li><strong>Private institutions <\/strong>(banks, insurance companies,\u2026) which are obliged to accept it as per <a href=\"https:\/\/www.normattiva.it\/uri-res\/N2Ls?urn:nir:stato:legge:2020-09-11;120\">n. 120\/2020<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHO CAN SIGN IT:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Italian citizens <\/strong>over the age of 18;<\/li>\n<li><strong>EU citizens<\/strong> over the age of 18;<\/li>\n<li><strong>Extra-EU citizens <\/strong>with Italian residence (only for information verifiable by Italian authorities and for matters object of an agreement between Italy and the country of nationality).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE: <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Self-certifications do NOT require signature authentication and therefore they are not a service offered by this Consulate.
