Art. 1, paragraph 621 of Law no. 208 of 28th December 2015 (the so-called Stability Act 2016) provides for the following updates in the Schedule of consular fees collected abroad under art. 64 of Legislative Decree no. 71 of 3rd February 2011:
1)\u00a020% increase in the amounts of fixed fees in sections I, IV and VII – except for art. 7-bis – which are rounded up;
2)\u00a040% increase in the amounts of fixed fees in sections II, VI, VIII and IX, which are rounded up;
3)\u00a0Addition of the following item \u201cnational visa type d) for study purposes: euros 50\u201d in section III, art. 29,;
4)\u00a0Repeal of articles 39, 41, 43 and 52 in section VI.
This legislative provision was implemented by interministerial decree MAECI\/MEF which came into force on 15th February 2016.
