Normal access to consular services will be restored starting May 29.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We apologise for the inconvenience.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Dear fellow Italians<\/p>\n<p>within the framework of the actions taken to facilitate access to the passport service, I am pleased to inform you that a new initiative for minors aged 12 to 17 has been launched.<\/p>\n<p><u>Italian nationals aged 12 to 17 may come to the London Consulate General without an appointment<\/u> to apply for a new passport.<\/p>\n<p><strong>This facility is available every Wednesday from 14.00 to 15.00. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To take advantage of this service the following <u>conditions<\/u> must be met:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The minor needs to be registered in the London AIRE catchment area;<\/li>\n<li>At least one parent has to be registered in the London AIRE catchment area;<\/li>\n<li>Accompanied by at least one parent or a person holding parental responsibility;<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the minor&#8217;s birth certificate has been registered at your municipality in Italy;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/conslondra.esteri.it\/en\/servizi-consolari-e-visti\/servizi-per-il-cittadino\/passaporti-e-servizi\/passaporto-per-minore-da-12-a-17-anni-minore-in-presenza-senza-appuntamento\/\">LINK TO THE SECTION FOR 12-17 YEARS OF AGE WALK-IN SERVICE.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Anyhow, please note that minors aged 12 to 17 can always make an appointment via the <strong>Prenot@mi platform or the Call Centre<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><u>The use of this new facility is encouraged so as to leave available slots to those Italian nationals who do not fall under the following categories of persons: <\/u>Italians over 70, pregnant women, disabled persons\u00a0 and minors aged 12 to 17.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>With best wishes.<\/p>\n<p>Domenico Bellantone<\/p>\n<p>Consul General of Italy in London<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"NOTICE: Due to scheduled technical interventions on our IT systems, the Consulate will be closed to the public on May 27 and 28, 2026.
