Appointment confirmed

Your passport appointment has been confirmed.

Please queue up outside in the “Passport with appointment” line only between 14:30 and 16:30.
Access will not be permitted before the time indicated in the email.

Once called by the Security Staff, you will have to present this email together with your passport.

Though you may receive further communication on our part, save this email as this is the definitive email in order to enter in the Consulate.

Please take notice:

  • This appointment is not a fixed time. It is merely to space out the appointment times;
  • No admittance past 16:30;
  • Ignore all previous and further emails;
  • Your waiting time at the Consulate will be AT LEAST ONE HOUR unless any problems occur.

 

Friends and family are not allowed to enter the building with you unless there is a specific requirement for their presence. This will be evaluated at our own discretion upon arrival. No unnecessary persons will be admitted.

The passport will NOT be issued on the spot. Instead, it will posted to the address provided clearly written on the envelope, within 2 – 3 weeks of the appointment.

This appointment is strictly personal and cannot be transferable to third parties.

 

IF YOU ARE OVER 18 YEARS OLD, BRING WITH YOU:

  • POSTAL ORDER made payable to “Italian Consulate General”. Check the correct amount on our website at the Consular fees section;
  • Prepaid Special Delivery envelope (up to 500g) purchasable at any post office;
  • MOD1 application form, printed and duly completed;
  • No. 2 recent identical passport-size photos, taken within six months, ICAO standards, white background only, NO USB;
  • Previous original Italian passport, even if expired or deteriorated;
  • In case of lost / stolen passport: ETD1/DEN1 printed and duly completed, together with another valid original ID such as any national passport or ID card (driving licence, residence card or Oyster card are not accepted);
  • In case of passport expired more than 10 years ago, you need to submit an Italian ID card or a valid original foreign passport (driving licence, residence card or Oyster card are not accepted);
  • In case this is your first Italian passport, you need to submit an Italian ID card or a valid original foreign passport (driving licence, residence card or Oyster card are not accepted).

 

IF YOU ARE BELOW THE AGE OF 18, BRING WITH YOU:

  • The minor must be present in the Consulate;
  • POSTAL ORDER made payable to “Italian Consulate General”. Check the correct amount on our website at the Consular fees section;
  • Prepaid Special Delivery envelope (up to 500g) purchasable at any post office;
  • MOD2 application form, printed, duly completed and signed by both tutor/parents;
  • If a tutor/parent giving consent is a non EU national, which includes British nationals, he/she must come in the Consulate in order to sign before an Officer with the original valid passport (driving licence, residence card or Oyster card are not accepted). Please refers to signature authentication for other details;
  • No. 3 recent identical passport-size photos, taken within six months, ICAO standards, white background only, NO USB;
  • Previous original Italian passport of the minor, even if expired or deteriorated;
  • In case of lost / stolen passport: ETD1/DEN1 printed and duly completed, together with another valid original ID such as any national passport or ID card (driving licence, residence card or Oyster card are not accepted);

  • If a tutor/parent refuses to give his / her consent for the minor’s passport, you have to consider the appointment cancelled and contact the Italian Consulate of London Welfare Department only via the email address: sociale.londra@esteri.it and wait for the reply of the Welfare Office. There is no walk-in service in this regard.
