Information regarding Italian citizens abroad can only be provided in compliance with current data protection legislation (Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003), and specifically with the consent of the person being sought, as well as within the (restrictive) limits set by local legislation.
In the event of a disappearance, a report must be filed with the competent police authorities in Italy. A copy of this report (preferably in PDF format) must be sent to this Consulate at the following email address: sociale.londra@esteri.it and in cc to dgit.tutela@esteri.it
