Please submit the below-listed documentation:
- APPLICATION FORM No.16 (editable pdf) duly completed with all requested information (place and date of the marriage, both spouses’ previous marriages and divorces) and signed by both spouses.
Please provide a legible email address where the Consulate will send a copy of the communication transmitted to the Municipality (Comune) via certified email (PEC). Moreover, please provide a postal address to be used in case incomplete and/or incorrect documentation needs to be returned to the sender;
- ORIGINAL (not photocopy) of the marriage Certificate WITH HANDWRITTEN SIGNATURE issued by the competent Albanian Registry Office;
- APOSTILLE for the marriage certificate(s) issued by the competent Albanian Authority. To find it, please click here;
- TRANSLATION into Italian ONLY of the marriage certificate(s) – NOT OF THE APOSTILLE.
It is advisable to use the services of professional translators in the country where the documents were issued;

- PHOTOCOPY ONLY of the page with photo and signature of both spouses’ In case of discrepancies in the personal details between the certificate and the current passport, please also attach a copy of the passport showing the corresponding personal data;
- PRESTAMPED SPECIAL DELIVERY ENVELOPE which should include the FULL name, postal address in the UK to be used for the return of any incomplete and not-compliant documentation to the sender.
