ON THE DAY OF YOUR APPOINTMENT

We strongly advise you check the relevant page of our website relating to the service required for the procedures to be followed when you arrive at the Consulate for your appointment (e.g. forms to be filled in, consular fees, etc.).

For security reasons, please do not bring any suitcases, large items, backpacks or pushchairs into the Consulate. The Consulate is not responsible for any items left either inside or outside our building.

Please be aware that all passports for children under 12 can be applied for by post: however, should you prefer to make an appointment for this service, please note that children under 12 do not need to attend the Consulate in person. Likewise, the registration of birth certificates for all children under 18 can be applied for by post: however, should you prefer to make an appointment for this service, please note that children under 18 do not need to attend the Consulate in person.

Payments of consular fees can be made with a postal order or with a UK debit card (no apple pay, no American express). The various consular fees are available on our website under “Useful information – Consular fees”.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the complexity of the handling passport applications at the counter and the controls involved for each applicant, plus the requirement for Italian nationals to be present for the issue of Emergency Travel Documents, the time slot assigned by the “Prenota Online” system may differ from the actual time in which applicants will be seen at the counter. Whilst encouraging the utmost punctuality at the appointment, we apologise in advance for any delay.
