How to apply for an ETD (Emergency Travel Document)

It can be issued if your passport or ID card has been lost or stolen. It can be used to return to Italy or to the country in which the applicant permanently resides, which can be proven by their AIRE registration.
The applicant must be present in the Consulate. This also applies to minor babies and children.
