Self-certification, Affidavit (dichiarazione sostitutiva di atto notorio) and Sworn Statement (atto notorio)

Some administrative procedures (both public and private) may require applicants to present a declaration regarding certain relevant information. This declaration can take different forms, depending on the information contained and the institution requiring it.

The three main types are: sworn statement (atto notorio), affidavit (dichiarazione sostitutiva dell’atto notorio) and the self-certification (autocertificazione).
