Below is a list of the services offered at the Notary Office. Each individual page offers information on how to obtain that specific service (either by appointment or via the post).
Please note that:
- Some services, such general powers of attorney and special powers of attorney are exclusively for Italian citizens ( 71/2011). Non-Italian citizens and Italian citizens unable to go to the Consulate can obtain the same documents from any British notary public. NB: in this case the document will also need to be apostilled for use in Italy by the Legalization Office. A non-exhaustive list of notaries known to this Consulate is available here.
- Some services are also available at some Honorary Consulates and Honorary Agencies in our network. Please enquire directly with the office of your interest.
- The notarial deeds produced at this Consulate General, at Honorary Consulates and Agencies are valid only in the territory of the Italian Republic and at the Italian diplomatic-consular representations abroad.
